I've been doing makeup since 2016 — first very briefly in Miami, then I perfected my technique in Atlanta, under editorial lights and live television, and now on the Outer Banks, in hotel rooms full of bridesmaids at seven in the morning.
The city taught me to build a face that holds up in a photograph. The coast taught me that the wedding morning matters just as much as the wedding photos.
